What plumbing problems do you repair?

We repair the everyday failures that make a house hard to live in: leaking pipes and fittings, running or clogged toilets, dripping faucets, shutoff valves that no longer shut off, low or uneven water pressure, and noisy pipes. If a fixture, a drain or a supply line is misbehaving, start here.

Common repairs include:

  • Leak detection and pipe repairs
  • Water heater repairs and replacements
  • Faucet, sink and shower repairs
  • Garbage disposal repair and replacement
  • Toilet repairs and replacements
  • Sump pump service

What should I tell you when I call?

It helps to know:

  • What the problem is and where it is in the house
  • When you’re available for a visit
  • The make, model or serial number of the fixture or appliance, if it’s involved
  • Anything that would make the visit easier for your household

What happens during a repair visit?

A licensed plumber arrives, wears shoe covers and puts down drop cloths, finds the cause of the problem rather than the symptom, and gives you a written price before starting. You approve the price, we do the work, and we clean up before we leave.

Common questions

How much does a plumbing repair cost?

The service call is free. A licensed plumber comes out, diagnoses the problem and gives you a written price before any work starts. If you go ahead with the repair, there's an $89 service fee on top of that price; if you don't, you pay nothing. If we open something up and find more than either of us could see, we stop and quote it rather than running up the bill.

Are you open nights or weekends?

Not yet. We're open 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday. If water is actively leaking outside those hours, shut it off at the main valve and call us when we open.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Plumbing work is performed under Massachusetts Plumbing Business License 1310027098-PL-C, issued by the Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters, and we're insured through Federated Insurance.
