Sump Pump Installation & Repair
Rain, snowmelt or a high water table can flood a basement. A sump pump that's sized correctly and actually works stops it before it starts.

What are the signs a sump pump needs service?
- The pump doesn’t start when the water level rises
- The motor runs but no water is being removed
- The pump won’t shut off
- Loud or unusual noises while running
- Water pooling or damp spots near the pit
- A pump that’s more than 7–10 years old
We diagnose the problem, test the float switch, check the discharge line, and make sure your pump is ready for the next storm.
What sump pump services do you offer?
- Installation — pumps sized for your home’s water table and drainage conditions
- Repair — electrical issues, float switch failures and mechanical faults
- Battery backup systems — keep the pump running during power outages
- Maintenance and testing — routine checks to keep it reliable

What should I tell you when I call?
- What you’re noticing (won’t start, runs constantly, strange sounds)
- When the pump was last serviced or replaced

How long does a sump pump last?
Many last around 7 to 10 years, depending on how often they run. If yours is older than that, test it before the wet season rather than during a storm.
Do I need a battery backup?
If your basement takes water during storms, a battery backup keeps the pump running when the power goes out — which is often exactly when you need it.
How can I test my sump pump?
Slowly pour water into the pit until the float rises. The pump should start, empty the pit and shut off. If it doesn't, call us.
